I was delighted to be able to get this brand on sale. I ordered half size larger to allow for heavy socks etc, but they still seem too large. Might have to exchange for half size smaller

What a great boot! Wore them all day yesterday for the first time and it was only late that I was ready for them to come off! Absolutely no break-in, very comfortable, true to size (although I bought medium weight and ultra-light wool socks to wear with these boots), and very light! I would recommend these boots to anyone who loves to hike, enjoys the outdoors, and backpackers! Exceptional!

I had been on the lookout for Lowa hiking shoes for awhile; I was delighted when these became available. Despite early misgivings the shoe might be ever so slightly narrow I have found them to be comfortable from the outset, sturdy and strong. They're absolutely perfect for hiking local Nevada & Utah trails.

I bought these for my 2012 thru-hike of the PCT and, wow, I am in love! They arrived only 5 days before departure and just by wearing them daily for that time they were totally broken in. I've worn them 180 miles now and I'm the only person I've met on the trail who has Lowa's and I'm also the only person I've met with no blisters! Next time I would get a half size larger than true size as recommended for thru-hiking, but I hope they'll stretch as my feet swell, they have so far. Perfect for the hot weather, I can feel the breeze :) and they dry in a snap. Would (and have) recommend!
