Lowa Windy Trail Shoes (For Women)

I got these shoes for hiking on relatively stable trails and on city sidewalks -- I walk a lot, and sometimes my excellent hiking boots are more than I need, especially when I'm traveling. The Lowas are great. They are a comfortable fit -- I have wide toes and narrow heels; the toebox is spacious and the heel fits fine with good lacing-up. The cushioning is better than in my hiking boots, so these shoes are excellent for city walking and even-surface hiking trails. They do run a little large, so I ordered half a size smaller than I would for hiking boots and with thick socks they're perfect.

I was looking for a quality shoe this color. Nice looking and comfortable.

This is a man's Lowa's. It says (woman's). That is why I had to return.

I have purchased and worn many pairs of Lowa shoes over the years. They are consistently sized (1/2 size large) and wear well. I have been happy with every pair I've owned. I do use a superfeet footbed in all pairs, as that helps to take up some volume and support my foot appropriately. I highly recommend them. I use them for everyday and hiking - depending on the situation. I get compliments constantly, because they are very cute, too.

Heed other reviews on this shoe...it is not sized right. I am normally a size 9 shoe and ordered an 8 1/2, this was still a 1/2 size too big. so, the savings is lost in the incurred shipping/return shipping costs. The shoes look very long. I've owned and really enjoyed Lowa shoes, these however, were returned and I did not reorder.

This was narrower than other Lowa shoes I've tried on. Felt very tight and hurt my feet just walking around the house. I am returning them.

Great shoes, but were HUGE for a 7. I ordered 2 different kinds of shoe, both US size 7. But one said UK 4 1/2, the other said UK 5 1/2. The UK 4 1/2 were way too short and these I'm rating now (UK 5 1/2) were way too long. I don't get that... These would be great if I could afford the postage to pay in order to finally get ones that fit!

great shoe, but I had to return and order 2 sizes lower than my usual, cause my foot was swimming in them! very comfy, very sturdy sole, durable upper. i have a narrow arch, so it the shoe pops out a bit when I walk, but this is prob only specific to my quirky foot.

I haven't worn them much but there is no break in period. They are comfortable the first time you put them on. Maybe run a little large, half size of so.

I have lowa boots I love. Thats why I bought the shoes and they are perfect for me as well.They do run 1/2 size large but I have no heel pain when I wear them and thats the pay off for me!
