Lowa

I had been on the lookout for Lowa hiking shoes for awhile; I was delighted when these became available. Despite early misgivings the shoe might be ever so slightly narrow I have found them to be comfortable from the outset, sturdy and strong. They're absolutely perfect for hiking local Nevada & Utah trails.

Every once in a while you get more than you pay for. This is an outstanding boot. Durable, stable and supportive with excellent construction throughout. If I could change anything, I would have a set of speedlace hooks at the top in place of the eyelets.

I purchased these boots 4 years ago after a very long search for a high quality leather boot for women, and by now I have had that pair resoled. The leather is still in great condition despite lots of hiking in rough and wet terrain, and my not conditioning them as often as I should. :). Therefore I decided to order another pair from Sierra Trading Post, even though my 4-year-old boots will probably last another 5 years or more. I spent so much time trying on boots four years ago, that I thought I'd get a pair new pair to use in the future. I love these boots and wear them year round when hiking, backpacking, doing yard work, and more.

Good for all weather condition hiking and work wear where ankle support, load bearing, is not at a premium. Comfortable from the first wearing.

They were usable immediately and did not need a break in time. Love Lowa and you have them at great prices!

I have a wide foot with high arches, high instep, and narrow heels. Lowa boots are a good fit for me. My last pair wore well for five years. I spend a lot of time outdoors in the mountains on rough ground. I have been very pleased with Lowa quality.

I bought these hearing a review fromother fire fighters. These are very comfortable and durable. I have major problems with my feet and this is exactly what I needed!

6 hours of hiking a week....have worn Lowas for years...I compare this to the Lowa Kody mid...The Renegade is a bit more cushiony but a lot more expensive....Laces are easy for my arthritic fingers...
