I am normally a size 6-8 but got the Medium (8-10) just to make sure I could wear a layer comfortably- so glad I did- fits like my small apex north face soft shell. So much more durable though and great for cold days climbing outside because the pockets don't interfere with the harness. I LOVE IT! such a great deal

You cannot wear anything heavy under the jacket esp if the garment has bulky sleeves.(i.e.-sweatshirt)

I am 5'9"; a bit long waisted...fit is great. Sleeves long enough. Great athletic jacket. No pockets at sides...the ones in front are it. No pit zips either, which is always a plus. Jacket is stylish and comfortable for golfing or warm weather skiing.

I needed an Xl, which they do not have in stock. Too bad! (I am usually a 12 or 14) I loved this jacket. I wore it all night hoping to get used to its tightness, but decided I better try something else. My daughter said it looked great, but I did not feel comfortable in the snuggness. Warm, warm, warm, warm! This would have beena wonderful jacket for warmth and style.

I use this jacket for biking and it is so wind resistant that I am generally comfortable with only a light layer underneath down to 12 degrees or so! The seams are also flattering to the torso - slimming and cute for casual wear.

I am not sure about the other poor reviews of this jacket. It is built for performance, and is incredibly good at blocking wind, which is a huge plus as I bike in it nearly every day. There is a bit more fabric under the arms than purely fashion coats - this is necessary to have a good range of motion. I even like the pattern which seems to make torso look especially slim. A perfect fit with a light underlayer, the coat also dries quickly and resists water very well.

I wish it had pit zips and side pockets in addition to the breast pockets. very water resistant and comfortable but feels a little too short at the waist.

I bought this jacket for Cross-Country skiing; unfortunately I had to return it. It has all the qulities of a perfect active winter wear: mid-weight, warm, extremely water resistant, breathable. BUT the fit is very uncomfortable. The sleeves are narrow underarm. It is barely tolerable when you put on only the thinnest base layer underneath, and extremely uncomfortable with anything more, such as a midlayer of lightweigh fleece for example. I got this jacket in M, and it fits fine everywhere else, so a size L, would not be an adequate substitute. I had to return it because I prefer freedom of movement, but if you don't mind a very snug fit, you might like it.
