First use was for Spring Break skiing and purchase for these conditions (lightweight, not as warm). However, had several days of winter conditions and therefore tested on cold and warm days. Worked well for both.

My daughter wanted these to wear when she is coxing the rowing team. The weight is perfect for moderate temps and seems to be a very nice quality. She hasn't had them out on the water yet, but the fit is consistent with what is expected, the fabric weight feels high quality, and the sewing is well done. We couldn't find any flaws and the price for this quality cannot be matched from any other vendor.

I bought these cause I walk outside every day through sunshine, rain, super storms, & snow. I really needed real real waterproof pants!!! These looked awesome. But unfortunately, the zipper quality was terrible... the front zipper got stuck on the bottom & popped right off. The zippers on the side with the velcro is super annoying, the unzipping was impossible cause of the velcro! The side zippers also got stuck a lot on the inner lining which was also very frustrating lol

    Pros:
    - the pants fabric material is great. Sturdy, thick, & heavy duty.

    CONS:
    - side zippers & velcro combo: just made putting on the pants a chore..., they also got stuck on the inner lining ever inch or so LOL
    - front zipper: got stuck on 1st try & popped off... leaving them useless
    - too much velcro everywhere (i rather have buttons or something)

Got them for my teenaged daughter, she is 5'1" and about 90lbs. got them in 2XS
the quality is top notch, as I'd expected from Lowe Alpine.
Upper part fits perfectly, however the inseam is short for about 4" than any other pants she has.
Expected use was skiing, the bottom barely covers her ski boot.
She was so disappointed, had to sent them back

Just got these, so haven't done anything but try them on. Normally I wear a 34 waist and I bought the large. Based on the size chart here and on Lowe Alpine's website I thought they would fit with room for a layer or two, but they barely fit with no extra layers. I'd order a size up.

This simply gets the job done for me. It fits over thin pants and base layer. It can be put on and removed even with crampons on. It is a durable type of Gore-Tex. It has optional suspenders. It fits high on the waist so that it doesn't get in the way of backpack straps. Full length zippers so that it's easily put on and removed and so that there's optional ventilation. There's a front fly zipper that also works for ventilation and other things.

But the side zippers get caught on the fabric way too easily. It's also a little bulky and there are absolutely no pockets of any sort. I actually like that because it makes it more minimalistic. However, I have to keep the zipper open so that I can access pockets on my under pants.
