Lowe Alpine Airspeed Convertible Jacket (For Women)

Spring in MI is unpredictable weather with lots and lots of wind! I biked in this jacket on a sunny but frigid day, and it was an excellent barrier to the wind under (or over!) fleece layers. It's light, it's sharp, and I think it's a great jacket. It zips into its own pocket for travel, or converts to a vest. Barring any malfunctions, I hope to own it for a long time.

I wear during hikes and runs as well as around town. Waterproof and breathable - great value - recommended.

I am taking this product on a 3 week trip to Europe. It is very lightweight, but still water and wind resistant. I can pack it tight in my backpack without having to worry about wrinkles.

so far it's perfect

Two of the pockets are made of light mesh and therefore not very sturdy for keys and cellphone, and there is a somewhat prominent logo in a couple of places. However, this fits perfectly (and that never happens) and is very light and comfortable.

I was impressed by this jacket. It kept me mostly dry during a 12 mile run in the rain and was warm enough because it is windproof. In fact, I got a little too warm at one point, but pushed up the sleeves and unzipped halfway and was fine. It seems to be a durable, very lightweight jacket.

Lightweight and versatile. Quality construction. Have ordered other Lowe pullovers, always impressed by quality!

I commute to work everyday on my bike and needed a light jacket for those cool mornings. This jacket fits the bill--it's lightweight, breathable, and comfortable. I really enjoy it. However, after reading reviews here I decided to go with a large instead of a medium. Big mistake! It's too baggy and the sleeves are too long. It's even too big when I wear a sweatshirt under it. Ironically, I also ordered a pair of shorts (different brand) in a large and those are far too small. I wish women's clothes sizing was a little more standardized. That said, it's still very comfortable and performs well, and since I already look silly in bike clothes it doesn't matter that much.
