“Just finished a 6 night, 100+ AT hike through Shenandoah NP with 3 windy, rainy days, 30 - 60 degree temps. This item was vital under those conditions. As a shell it provided great protection against wind and light rain. The hood and full front zipper helped regulate heat. The XL provided plenty of room and sleeve length for 6'2" 200# hiker. This jacket has an extended back and female sided zipper. Lacks pit zips and side pockets, but worth the trade off with its light weight.”
