I am a wildlife biologist and I use this day pack to carry bulky and awkward sized field equipment. With other packs I have used, I can always feel my equipment poking me in the back, but the internal frame on this pack provides a buffer and greatly lightens the load on my back. I am pleased with this purchase.

Very adjustable. I'm short so it was a little bothersome when I was climbing up a few rocks...digging into my neck. But other than that, I'm really liking it. Very comfortable, it doesn't feel too big but there is tons of storage

This pack is really great. It is very light and is perfect for cycling, which is what I bought it for. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because, once you put a two liter bladder in it, it really restricts the leftover space inside the pack. However, with cycling, all you really need is conformable to the oddly shaped inside. It has worked very well and the rain fly is a great accessory!

Used it once already to take my kids rock climbing. Great features. It had smaller capacity than anticipated, but that' probably more due to my inexperience when ordering in determining proper sizing.

After the "summer of heat" I was desperate for a day pack that had ventilation and kept my back dry. This is it. The multiple accesses have been totally thought out! Love this pack!

I am not even sure of all the features yet but I tested it out and am very happy. They zipper's seem protected which is nice. There is ample storage and it is very comfortable to wear.

NOTE - the specific model for this bag is the Centro 30z Got this bag to use for commuting on my bike. Have not had a Lowe Alpine bag before and I am impressed. They clearly know their business. Pros * Loading - the entire front zips open for loading. It is crazy simple to properly load and tighten this pack. * Suspension - the open back is going to keep my back less-sweaty on summer rides. * Materials - light-weight and well-constructed. The overall durability of the pack should be good (see note below). * Design - integrated rain-fly and placement of pockets is spot-on for my needs. Cons * Suspension construction - the mesh suspension which will keep me dry also worries me a bit in terms of durability. Mesh snags... but time will tell. Considering the quality of the other materials, they probably have this nailed as well. * Zippers - I love large zippers. They last longer. These are fairly small zippers, but water-resistant. Overall, very pleased with the purchase and the price couldn't be better. Won't be the last Lowe Alpine bag I purchase!

This pack is perfect for day use or a minimal, warm weather overnight trip. IT IS EXTREMELY WELL THOUGHT OUT. The adjustments are easy and the pack rides well away from the back to create a nice airflow. I have a large expedition size Lowe Alpine and now this for just simple hikes and exploration days while I am visiting Europe. They don't skimp on quality.

I like that the whole front of the pack can be unzipped as opposed to just a top "flap" - makes things easy to organize. It's really comfortable, but a bit too small for anything more than a simple day hike. I wanted to use it to store extra gear/cloths & find it to be a bit too small for that purpose. However, it is compact so makes it easy to squeeze in tight spots in my full trunk.
