Like the size and suspension for my half day hikes. It just needs a few more small pockets for easy access to snacks, camera, etc....

This pack seems like it is going to be a great purchase. My father has one, also, and he loves it. It is just the right size for a long day hike. Many outside pockets makes it easy to stash all kinds of goodies. My only complaint, being a woman, is that I wish it had a little more hip and shoulder padding for longer hikes.

This is a nice pack. I bought it to carry camera gear and day hiking stuff like a jacket, first aid kit, headlamp and hiking poles. I especially like the side access pocket to get to my camera. The pack is not light but it carries well and is very comfortable because it's so adjustable. I also like the pockets so that I can keep my stuff organized and easy to find. The hydration pocket holds my 100 oz bladder. It has a mesh band to keep the back of the pack away from my back for extra ventilation. I've only used it this winter so I haven't really tested that feature yet.

this pack is surprisingly spacious. in part that is because of the front "bucket pocket." it is far more hearty than the mesh ones. it holds two 32oz water bottles plus. it is not quite big enough for minimalist overnighters, but then just maybe. only wish it had somwhat better padding.

This is a great backpack designed for long day hikes. It is very comfortable and you can carry everything you need easily for the day. It's not big enough for overnight camping, and I wouldn't really think of it as a backpack for school, even though you can use it for that...it just doesn't have dividers for notebooks, laptops, etc. like a school backpack would have. This backpack is made for anyone who wants a quality backpack for carrying their gear...it's durable and has plenty of nice features. I took it on an 8 mile hike this past weekend, and it worked great!
