Took this bag up a local mountain the day I got it. Love the fit and ease of loading. The Air suspension is perfect. I had seen it on a different pack and this was the reason I bought this. I also like the compact rain-fly. This is my 3rd Lowe backpack. They are the best. Highly reccommended pack.

Overall a very good pack. My only complaint thus far is that the strap that goes across your chest (on my pack) will pop off if there is too much pressure on it. I didn't feel like I had it cinched down that tight and it has popped off a couple times - this could be remedied by affixing it, but then you lose out on the ability for it to slide up and down, adjusting to your needs.Other than that the pack is very solid with a lot of nice features. This was a birthday gift for my son who lives and works in the mountains of Oregon. He was thrilled, maybe even ecstatic in his report on the backpack. He said he couldn't have wished for a better quality and more useful item. (He spent most of the first night packing it for the next day's trip.) Whenever I buy something for a gift and I can't see it, I always wonder what it's like and hold my breath for the report back. This son is always honest and gives a good critique. Since he has no access to a computer, I feel that these comments might just as well have come from him. He thinks this backpack was perfect for him (he's 6'5" tall).

I used this backpack for a weekender with about 20 lbs. of gear and never felt like it was too heavy. If you're going for longer hikes you will most likely need a larger pack.

It has carried 30 lbs easily on an overnighter and is a great summit pack. Comfortable and well made.

Very well designed pack. The features are very extensive for a day pack. I like the rain cover included. I have yet to use the pack so I can not really comment on comfort and perforamnce. I am a little concerned that durability will be a problem. I plan to use this on some survival trips I have planned. Lowe makes a good product though. That is why I bought it in the first place.

Use for weekend hikes, comfortable. Minimal waist belt, no padding but okay for a pack this size.

I love the fit of this backpack, I have a very long torso, and I like the adjustable torso length for me. I was having a very hard time finding a daypack that fits me, most are made way to small. I still like Deuter's packs for multiple day hikes, but this is perfect for dayhikes, especially in winter with a few extra bulky clothes.
