    Very waterproof, good for hiking and sailing. The garment skin is a little stiff becasue of the waterproofig property. I returned it becasue I wanted something a little softer for casual wear.

    don't expect this coat to be breathable enough for crosscountry skiing or other high exertion activities. its trim fitting but full through the shoulders(athletic cut);suggest ordering up one size if you plan on using for under 20 degree weather as the coat has light weight fleece insulation and you may find you need a sweater.

    This jacket is great! It has just enough insulation to be usefull but not enough to be poofy. I don't feel like it is quite breathable enough to be a great technical piece but as far as being a good all around jacket it's very good. My only gripe would be that the hood is not removable.

    This is a well made jacket that is advertised as an all season jacket. It is not heavy enough for all seasons or very cold weather. The hood is not flexible enough to be folded into the jacket. The hood will need to be out for comfort.
