    This is a solid piece of gear from a good company I use it for winter climbing and cold weather mountain biking. The arms are strange.A bit tight in the the forearms(is that by design?)and a bit too long.With that said, those are easily overlooked beause the jacket is a comfortable second layer and works well.For cold, cold weather you might need another layer.

    This is an excellent piece of gear. Its warmth to weight ratio is unequalled by anything else I own. Lowe Alpine is still a gear company that happens to make clothes as well. As such, quality v. fashion is still driving the train. NOTE: Lowe Alpine Gear tends to run a bit small relative to other lines i.e. NF, MH etc. Knowing this, I have ordered xxl v. xl gving me enough room to layer yet still having a trimmer fit.

    I'm 6 foot 170 lb and the medium size fits perfect. This seems to be a high quality jacket with wind pro polartec material, similar to another recommendation this would make a great light jacket or a layer under a shell. Outside is treated with DWR. A $200 quoted retail is insane, this is more of a $120 retail jacket. Still an excellent bargain at this price!
