“This is a shell and not insulated what so ever. It will keep you dry but maybe not warm. That being said, it is very light wieght and a good choice for packing. The material is tough and I feel good about it not ripping in two when ice climbing. Plenty of room for a helmet under the hood and good atheltic cut. I'm 6 foot 165 pds and got the large which fits well and leaves me room to layer underneath it.”
