“Great All Around Jacket”

“This is a very functional jacket for either active or casual wear. I was able recently to test it through heavy rain and subsequent snow up in Yosemite. It performed flawlessly. I paired it with a mid layer windproof fleece jacket from STP for a perfect balance of warmth and dryness. The "pit zips" are a bit undersized and strangely placed but not at all a dealbreaker. I primarily used the jacket for snowshoeing and hiking with no real inconvenience. I was able to quickly and easily ventilate when needed. Some of the better features include waterproof DEEP pockets, longer hemline in the back, excellent stormflap with a large sized zipper, nicely sized hood (not huge but large enough for a helmet) adjustment options throughout jacket and nice color selection. It is also stylish enough to wear with a pair of jeans around town, either with or without a mid layer...ie doesn't look bulky with a mid layer or huge without one. Bottom line it's highly functional in a variety of weather conditions. Enjoy!”
