Seems to fit well with or without a helmet. The zipper snags occasionally but no real problem.

hard to truly rate so soon after purchase.time will tell on the overall evalutation.however my initial impression is very positive.this is certainly the finest gore-tex jacket,i have owned;and i have owned a few.i am very optimistic about this product!

Nice fit, the arms are a little baggy though, remember also that the hood is designed for a helmet, as for performance - you can't go wrong with goretex pro.

This shell blocks rain crazy well. Gore-tex Proshell is absolutely awesome. Never had a more extremely sustainable waterproof material.

Wore this jacket in the White Mountains this past weekend and held up fantastic in 45 mph winds with temperatures in the teens. Fits perfect over layers, I got a large and am 6' 180 pounds. Highly reccomended.

I use this jacket when it is rainy.

The fit of this is pretty good for me. The sleeves are nice and long but I could use an extra half-inch length in the torso. I'm a tall guy so it would fit any normal human being well. The fit is roomy enough for layering but not too baggy. Great to move in, not restrictive at all. The material is fantastic, feels very substantial and slippery on the inside which makes it very easy to layer with. I have a few complaints though. The pit zips are not really pit zips, they're tricep zips. The placement isn't directly on the armpit and therefore it doesn't dump as much heat as it should. The hood rolls up and buttons under a little flap in the collar leaving you with a tall poofy collar (like a lot of other Gore-Tex Pro jackets). It functions great but it sometimes leaves a couple of bits of hood sticking up which looks kind of silly. I would've preferred a zipper closure. Not a big deal though. The hood is very helmet-centric. It's fairly difficult, if you have a totally bare head, to get the hood to fit right. If you wear a helmet often or thick hats/beanies it'll be excellent, but the hood fitting leaves something to be deserved. Overall the positives of the jacket (value, quality and fit) outweigh the small negatives.

Low Alpine have done a fantastic job with this climbing jacket. The pockets are placed so they will not interfere with your harness and the bottom of the jacket is shaped and cut so that it is not in the way of your harness. The material is light and there is ample room for layers underneath. The hood has plenty of room for a helmet and it folds into the collar if not in used. It also packs small. [...]

Great fit that's not too bulky like a lot of other jackets. I love the high collar. I've worn it through a few rain storms and it has kept me dry and toasty (with layers).
