I was disappointed by the flimsiness of the material. No liner to protect GORE-TEX from abrasion. For bibs, the waist did not come up high enough to keep snow out when bending over etc.

I was stalking other full-zip, gore-tex pro, hard-shell pants for an upcoming climb when I saw these Lowe's. I bought them because they sounded excellent on paper. After my winter ascent, they have exceeded my wishes. Fit better than my past hard-shells and feel great with a full pack. I'm 5'11" and the Large is perfect, I could probably be an inch taller and still work well. I am glad I did not spend the additional 150-200 that I was prepared to pay.

These pants are terrific but had to return them because of the length. I bought them for my husband who is 6'1" (34" inseam) and they were about 3-4 inches too short. He was going to ski in them because they are Gore-Tex but was afraid the snow would have gone inside of his boots due to short length. Nonetheless they are a great product, high quality from a great website!

Great product. My 4th pair of Goretex "shell" pants. They are a great buy with everything I need for work on Glaciers and other extreme weather.

Excellent pants for ice climbing and mountaineering, especially if you know the weather will be wet and windy. I wish the fabric is thicker so when I glassade down the slope, my butt won't be so cold :) other than that, this is the pants to get.

I ordered these pants because of the Gortex Pro Shell to use here in Colorado for winter mountaineering, and back country ski tours. The pants fit well and are very versatile with good construction. The pants are a shell, so use your layering system! They have kept me warm in -30 wind chill with no wind getting through and completely dry in deep snow. I use my own gators with these pants in deep snow as the attached gators work only in fair conditions, but they make a great backup. The pants breath very well and are comfortable for a shell of this type.

Bought for skiing, snow caving, mountaineering and trekking in extended rain. So far have only worn skiing but am pleased with the quality of construction and the ruggedness of the material for being so lightweight. They're obviously designed for mountaineering but will no doubt make a great multipurpose waterproof-breathable pant. I am 5'10.5" and the large fits me well.
