No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“The fleece is attractive and looks great on. It fits well. It has three problems for me.
1) It doesn't block the wind so I can't really count on it for a camping or hiking trip.
2) I hate the stiff collar. I like a collar to zip up to my neck when it's cold but to lay down when it's not.
3) Unfortunately, it's too warm for inside and it doesn't block wind so isn't much use for outside either.”
