    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    As other reviewers have noted, these don't have much stretch in them, so you have to have just the right proportions to fit in them. The waist is also pretty high, but that's good for snow sports. I wouldn't buy these again, but for the deal I got on them, they'll be a reasonable winter layer.

    This product runs small. I ordered a medium (8-10) thinking a large (12-14) would fall off of me. The medium fit like an extra small. I couldn't even get them over my thighs.
