If it was a little smaller in size, it would fit perfectly.

i was planning to use this for cold, rainy, windy days...but you cannot zip it up in under 10 minutes struggling with an unwieldy zipper and the jacket and sleeves are way too long and look silly for this size.

Waterproof, light enough to carry and heavy enough to use. Definitely wind and waterproof. Becomes a good pillow when hiking/sitting. Won't keep you very warm, but is excellent as an outer shell. Could use 2 more zipper pockets. The zippers are good, but they are surrounded by folds, then by velcro. Just don't expect to quickly zip anything up or get something from your pocket in a hurry. Also has an inside velcro pocket.

Although this is a great product but I had to return it because the zipper was on wrong side for men, zipper quality was bad and was hard to engage when iserting to zip up.

After owning a North Face Gore Tex coat for over 20 years, I switched "over". The jacket fits well but the zipper is not easy to get started and that is indoors with hands, not outside with gloves. Someone else mentioned a similar concern with the zipper. I am wondering if this is a defect issue. I have my doubts of any product that will not function inside the house!

It would have been better if in the description there was information as to whether this was large enough to cover a wool sweater or other layered tops - it seems there is little room for any heavy garment to be worn below.

Will use as my primary rain jacket/wind breaker. It looks like it will do those jobs very well.

It's a nice jacket. Some people complain about the "female" zipper, which is the reverse of what most men are familiar with. That's silly. It takes a moment to adjust to the different zipper and it doesn't look different. Time to man up, guys. The jacket feels sturdy and it's windproof. It's not as crushable as the LL Bean Gore Tex jacket it replaced, but it seems more durable. The color (red) is deep and rich. My one complaint is that it comes with a card that says something like "Using cotton clothes under this jacket will undermine its waterproof capabilities." Really? That's absurd. They're just trying to sell some expensive wicking shirts that most casual hikers and even serious hikers like me don't need.

Solid performer in a light rain. Great price for a Gore-Tex product.
