Lowe Alpine Flexion Jacket (For Women)

This is a wonderful jacket! Great fit. Its a slimmer fit than some and I like that it is longer than a lot of my soft shells. Looks great. I wear it over a base layer and really like it. The only comment I have is it is not as water resistant as some of my soft shells. It is not advertised as such but I did end up wearing it on a rainy day. I didn't get soaked (better than a fleece) but I didn't see any beading of water. So, I know I'll wear my other soft shells on a rainy day. However, it does breath really well!

I like the overall fit-it was just right for me, but...the seams on the inside cuffs make the sleeves stick out oddly. The hidden zippers on the pockets are nice, but the tiny, slippery zipper pulls are so hard to grip that opening/closing the pockets is a chore requiring full attention. The front collar-top of zipper area is not assembled well. It sticks out/bunches oddly. The white and orange logo is too stark on a black jacket. I will be returning this jacket.

I wear this jacket when it is in the mid-40s or 50s F with some layers and it is a great windblocker. It is not as thick as I thought it would be but it is surprisingly warm for its weight. The fit is very nice, true to size and feminine.

I purchased the jacket for my wife to run with in moderate wet weather. The jacket is excellent for that purpose. Well worth the price!

I ordered this jacket for a trip to Europe. I wanted a jacket that could handle cold, wet weather, one that wasn't heavy or padded. This fits the bill. It packs nicely and doesn't wrinkle easily. It had a funny smell when I first opened its packaging, but that odor dissipated on its own. The fit is trim but not tight. I would buy this jacket again.
