Lowe Alpine Gore-Tex® Mountain Cap - Waterproof, Hat (For Men and Women)

SHORT COMMENT -- TOO SMALL; otherwise VERY GOOD. LONG COMMENT -- Ordered both the insulated & uninsulated in LARGE even though my head measurement in inches was just at the top limit for MEDIUM. Both of these hats were still TOO SMALL even with the adjustable tab extended all of the way. I am at work as I write this, so I'll have to guess that these are MADE IN CHINA (or some other country where the majority are smaller than Americans). Although I haven't had it in the rain yet, it promises to be a very good hat!

I liked it so much that I bought two more...one for my wife and one for my son (5 years old). He wears his all the time and considers it part of his "safety gear" while pretending to fly his jet plane. I have to wear mine when I fly with him.

There should be an explanation about the sizing, such as how many inches around the head for each size. I had to guess. Fortunately, it is adjustable.

I bought first one, then bought two more. Need I say more? P.S. I had to add x-s the the word before the sapiens word because my review was deemed to contain profane words. Very funny.

Not very comfortable with ear flaps folded up inside you want to use this hat only when you want your ears covered

Nice wind blocking but the purpose of the snap up brim escapes me.

I use it on winter hiking

only complaint is that it needs a strap to join earflaps under the chin for windy weather

Very flexible for changeable conditions

Wears like an insulated cycling cap.
