“Light, Waterproof, Great Hood!”

“I originally ordered a different Lowe Alpine Gore-Tex jacket that had a collar and a hood but got this jacket instead and I am so glad I did! What really stands out on this jacket is the hood design. When looking for a waterproof jacket the hood is incredibly important, especially if you wear glasses. The hood is exceptionally roomy and has a very large stiffened brim. The rain stays off your head (and your glasses) no matter how much the wind tries otherwise. The jacket is unbelievably light and has a great fit. My only complaint is that there is no cover over the zipper. There is protection on the inside and the zipper appears to be coated. I haven't had any problems with water getting in through the zipper but it does seem strange.”
