This looks to be a great pack. My 10 year old will be using it for school. This is his third pack of the year, and this one looks like it will last. The bag is large enough that a full load of books actually fits without straining. The zippers are oversized and strong. The stitching is tight, neat and professional. He likes the design (alien escape), and has gotten comments about how cool it is.

This pack is great for our daughter. It's well made and suitable for her school or family hiking trips. She's about 4'10" and the adjustable straps work well with her frame.

Well, ordered two of these backpacks for my two sons. The price was superb, and Lowe Alpine is known for great quality, so what's not to love? These are fabulous packs! My sons will use them for school, and from what I can tell, they seem like they'll be up to the job. The graphics are extremely well done. My older son, who got the green one with the eyeball peering out, laughed and said 'wow, Mom! That is so cool!' He's 12, and will be in 7th next year. I think he'll get lots of comments on his backpack. My other son is 6, going into kindergarten, and he has the blue alien hand one. He loves it! Other than looks, the construction is good, and there's room for pens/pencils in a separate section of the pack. Padding on the back & straps also. I like them. Love STP!
