    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    These shorts run 2-3 sizes too small. I normally wear a 4-6, after reading other reviews I ordered an 8 which was still too small. They are designed very nicely. I have other Lowe Alpine clothing, some run small, some run large. They have very nice clothing and outerwear but the sizes are always unpredictable.

    Loved these shorts but way too small. I read the other reviews and ordered a size up. I am a size 6 and I could not get the size 8 up around my hips. I am sending them back.
