Lowe Alpine Ice Light Gore-Tex® Pants - Waterproof (For Men)

Great pants that are Gore-tex. What else do you need. The suspenders are short, the crotch/upper legging area is baggier than I expected. I guess you can layer a ton underneath, but if you're active, you don't need to layer much. Overall, they're great pants with a lot of features unmentioned in the description. Fits true to size, but baggy to layer underneath.

solid wet weather pant that performs as advertised. Could use a couple more pockets, but will sacrifice creature comforts for dry legs

Durable, well-made gore-tex pants. Could be a little longer (for my size) but other than that, they are really nice.

If you plan to use these pants from skiing, x-country, randonee etc.. any sport that uses two edges... BEWARE! The inside ankle pads are made of very light denier material and will cut like butter if an edge is run across it. Also, the black denier material on the bottom of the cuffs will bleed onto your boots, making cleanup a pain in the a_ _! Don't buy these pants just because they are inexpensive and made of Gore-Tex.

I will use this product for winter backpacking. Excellent product!!

-the full side zips make these pants great for getting them on and off with crampons -it would be nice to have just one pocket. there are none. -a bit baggy in the butt area. they don't look all that fashionable on the ski slope, but they are extremely functional in the backcountry, ice climbing, and general mountaineering- -the suspenders seem to make the pants ride up a bit, but the flexible waist makes it so you don't really even need the suspenders.

I love these pants, they are exactly what I was looking for in waterproofness, and comfort. They breathe which is huge. I teach outdoors all day, and needed something that could go all day and keep me dry, and warm. I also ski, and find these really comfortable. Great!

Great pant. After reading all of the reviews you would be fooolish not to buy these pants at this price. Great for skiing, the inseam is a bit long for a short guy like me but that makes them fit a bit higher on me and prevents snow down your back. Great high quality ski, climbing, snowshoeing bibs!

Breathable, waterproof after i slipped, my knee down into a creek and stood up, nothing happened! Tough, strong, i got several scratches climbing rocks up and down, just one light nick left on knee position. Totally satisfied with this pant.

Over all an outstanding product. The sizes are a little miss-leading as the length was significantly shorter than other brands listed as the same size. However, I am 5ft 10" and the length (inseam) was perfect. So if your an average to shorter person, go for these! The material is some what light though seems quite tough. The removable gators are a nice feature, but they are pretty much the only feature: no pockets, no clips. Just a simple zip down shell for your legs. So all in all they are fantastic pants. I love their simplicity and ability to easily go over the pants I'm wearing and without feeling like i'm a walking ball of insulation. Highly recommended. (just remember, the're a little short. but even if I were taller, I'd buy these and just use gators to increase the length.
