Good thermal layer. Quality Lowe Alpine product.

This is a mid-layer of warmth which will be appropriate according to individual needs; everyone needs to experiment to determine the limitations. I used it primarily in the Escalante area of Utah at two times: 1. while hiking in the early morning, 30 - 45 degrees; and 2. in camp at night and early in the morning. The product is light weight and good insulation.

Pretty nice jacket and pretty warm but runs big and sleves are very long

Pefect all round fleece. Will use it for hiking in cold places so it is part of my husband's layering outfit. Typical male, he doesn't want to many frills so this is perfect. It is streamlined and does the job well - very warm, yet not bulky. Black is a great colour and can be used in many other situations - not just for hiking around. It is on the thin side (my husband get's warm very easily) so if you're the type to feel the cold you might want to get thicker, or else get more layers ie. wool underlayers etc.

the material's great, but the fit is poor. i'm 6-1 and slim (but not REALLY slim at 182lbs) and found its body too large, the sleeves just long enough (bordering on short), but the worst feature is the full length zipper. it is unnecessary, and interferes with the material's natural fit (you sit down, and look pregnant, etc.). buy the 1/3 length zipper one instead (i have both).

I'm 6'3" 180. I usually have a tough time finding shirts that are not super boxy and still have enough sleeve to fit my long arms. The Large in this shirt was ok in the sleeves (Not quite long enough, but I could live with it)but the body was huge. I ended up giving it to my friend who wears an XL and it fit him very well. He is also about 5'8. The body was a little big for me, but the shirt looks pretty cool. I wish it fit better.

I bought this for travel so I was looking for low weight and ability to fold up thin. It meets both requirements. I have not tried it for warmth, but I would not expect to wear this on a very cold day unless as one layer of many. Seems great for chilly Spring and Fall nights or heavily airconditioned Florida restaurants. Could use a pocket or two - there are none.

Very light weight and great for layering. I bought the large and it was a little long, but I wear it alot.

This is a stylish (I bought the black) and very comfortable micro fleece. It is slightly longer than I expected but looks better than I expected.
