Lowe Alpine Multi-Pitch Jacket - Soft Shell (For Women)

Got this for use while running, but haven't had a chance to use it for that purpose yet. I have worn it for casual use and it's great. The elastic cuffs are perfect for keeping the sleeves from extending too long - I have short arms. Length was perfect for covering down to my hips. I got the XL (5'6"/178) and it's a little snug at the hips, but not enough to discourage me from keeping/using it. I got the True Red and it's a nice bright red. Great for being seen while running.

Unlined but doesn't affect performance as a lightweight soft shell.I'd buy again, if I could get it in another colour, same size.

I am enjoying this coat for spring but was hoping it had a liner when I ordered it. The collar has a fleece liner but the rest of the coat does not. It is very form fitting but I can wear a flece underneath it and it provides great warmth on our windy 50 degree days. I have VERY long arms and the arm length is just long enough (size M).

What a great looking jacket- but you might want to turn elsewhere if you seek warmth!

this is an awesome soft shell! it is very flattering - i am 5'3" and about 125 pounds and the small fits perfectly....i can fit some layers underneath - the sleeves are long but the cuffs are snug so they don't bother me

I wasn't sure that this jacket would work for x-c skiing, but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and functional this jacket was. I would definitely recommend it to outdoor enthusiasts.

I LOVE this jacket! I'm a really picky shopper when it comes to outdoor gear but the design and function of this jacket is SO great that I've purchased it in three different colors. I love the material, too. It's slightly stretchy and allows excellent freedom of movement while still providing good wind and water resistance. This jacket is great for general outdoor activities and for casual days at the office. The red color is excellent for days when I'm out in the field (very visible color that enhances my safety when I'm working during hunting season). The value is incredible, too. Don't tell my guy but I'm buying my fourth jacket today!

I haven't used this jacket yet, so I can't really comment on it's breathability, but I love how it looks and feels, and it just doesn't get any more comfortable! It appears boxy in the picture, but it isn't boxy at all. I'm not sure, but judging by the material, I think that it will be water resistant. The medium is a perfect fit for me. I'm 5'2", 120 lbs. I have bigger arms, and this doesn't restrict movement at all. I can't wait for the weather to clear up so I can give it a try outdoors!

I'm on a nordic ski patrol and needed a red jacket that was breathable and lightweight. This jacket is perfect. It has kept me warm and dry during long workouts. I've used it in the snow and a light drizzle and the water beaded up and ran off. The fit isn't constricting for classic skiing and stays put even when wearing a backpack. My fiance coveted mine so much we had to order him his own!
