well made product. as with all lowe alpine zipper on other side. if you can live with that it is a great vest for the money.didn't say in description but it also has a togglecord hem.

Lowe Alpine does tend to fit snug, which is what I find appealing in addition to the quality of their clothing. Medium fits me perfectly, I'm 5'9" 150lbs. The arm openings suit a slender fellow. Most vests tend to have openings that are way too large. The material is smooth and thick enough to provide warmth, but not too much.

I ordered the medium, a size I almost always wear. I'm 6'1" 180 lb. The fit was too tight across the chest and under the arms, and way too short. So I sent it back.

This is a nice mid-weight softshell vest, usual good Lowe Alpine quality. It does run small, except for the shoulders, which are wider than a normal vest cut. I would recommend this for windy damp conditions-3 season. Too heavy for temps much over 50.

Very nice fit. I'm a 40" chest and the medium fits perfectly... nice and snug but not tight. Material is very stretchy and forgiving, but also seems very durable. High quality build, zippers, etc. Nice drop tail for extra coverage....especially on the bike.This is not a very warm vest, but works well as an outer layer for high output activities.... very breathable, but not windproof (always a tradeoff), seems pretty good at repelling moisture. Well worth it at retail, a no-brainer for under [$].

Beautifully made, the soft shell material is very solid but lightweight and not fleece-lined so not especially warm. Probably best for active pursuits like climbing and running where you want wind and moisture protection with great breathability. The cut is very athletic with a nice drop hem on the back but even given the cut i found it on the small side, tight around the chest. It is stretch though.
