I am on the slim side, and I often find pants that come in S, M, L to be too big overall. These were like so many, just not trim enough for me in the S. I think they might work for someone curvier, but not for me. I wear size 2 or 4 in pants, but these just didn't work in the S.

I usually take an L or occasionally an XL in pants for my wide hips. The XL of these came nowhere near fitting me. They must be made for all those tiny women out there.

I will enjoy these soft shell light weight winter pants. The pair I received is one size too small. I will exchange them for the next size. I really like how the winter pants feel on. The pants are flexible and comfortable. I am going to wear them for all my fun outdoor activities.

I actually had to return this item as it was WAY too small - I love the pant though so would recommend it to someone if it would fit them

It looks like it would be a really nice pant, except they run quite small. Order up a size. I had to sent them back. They do have a lot of stretch, but there is zero stretch in the waist, so don't count on that.

Per previous reviewer's advice, i ordered up a size (usually i'm 10-12 and ordered an XL). Unfortunately, the XL was way too big. Also, the pocket zippers end at the top of my hip/pelvic bones, where it seems like they would sit right under my backpack hipbelt and cause pain. Weird that the designer did that. Too bad.

These will be good for spring and fall hiking, travel, daily wear. Lowe makes high quality garments and these seem to live up to the name. They are extremely lightweight - not a winter pant. They are more geared toward travel than technical wear - the knees are single fabric and are not articulated; there are no ankle zippers. The leg pocket is placed low on the left leg - kind of an odd placement. They are cut very small - I had to order a large although I wear a size 6 to 8 pant - I would say the large is a size 8. They are also ridiculously too long - at least 6 inches too long - but I simply rehemmed them. They are cut high at the waist, so if you like your pants low cut, these are not for you.

I don't understand why women would want winter outdoor pants that would let the weather down their cracks!!! Why would Lowe of all companies make woman's gear so impractical. other that this, the fabric felt great and would probably do the job

Great material, very flexible but order at least a size up. I am a standard M and needed XL.

I did end up keeping these pants--will need to get them hemmed as too long for me (5' 6"). They fit almost tight like through the waist and hips--skin tight. Fortunately the fabric is great and stretches a lot and they are comfortable enough--will be good under a harness I think.
