Rode motorcycle 3 hours in heavy rain, the built in gaiters or powderskirt or whatever it is called worked excellently. Came through bone dry, nice product.

  • Question “I can't tell from the picture-do these pants have any pockets?”

Asked on 2/16/2010 12:00:00 AM by Tom can ski it! from Northern Utah
    • Answer These pants do not have any pockets, but have full length side zippers.

    • Answer There should be a tag in the pants that will tell you. These are machine washable and hang dry. Do not use detergent with these pants though as that will clog the pores and it will compromise the waterproof ability. The product I recommend is Nikwax Tech wash, it will clean your pants as well as clean out the pores of any gunk, you will want to wash these at least once a year to keep them functioning and prolong their life. Hope this helps!

    • Answer Different people will give you different answers. Cleansing agents are by definition detergents, so the recommendation to avoid detergents has always struck me as odd. Just use something "plain" without extra additives such as softeners, perfumes, "bleach alternatives", and rinse well. When washing in a machine, close all fasteners (Velcro, zippers, snaps, etc.). A mesh bag can help protect clothing from agitators.
