Lowe Alpine Randonee Jacket - Triplepoint® Waterproof, Insulated (For Women)

I took this jacket on a spring ski trip to Tahoe and it worked great --- especially during the surprise storm. Once the spring weather kicked in it was a bit warm and I was only wearing a t-shirt underneath. But it performed great, was comfortable, and did the job for looks. I recommend this jacket for those looking for a warm and functional ski jacket or winter jacket.

Nice coat, but runs quite small so there isn't room to layer underneath, even though I ordered a size up. Some of the pockets are hard to zip and unzip. Nice fabric - not too stiff. Great looks and nice style. Just wish it were roomier in fit.

Contrary to many of the other reviews, I really like this coat. It's very warm for our wet Germany winters. I've worn it in snow and rain and stayed dry. The colors are muted...they are not bright, vivid, ski slope colors, but I didn't buy the jacket to match everything I wear (it goes fine with black.) I wear it for everyday, sledding with kids, and for hiking through the woods. It has back of the arm zips to help circulation and keep cool. There is plenty of room for layering (I'm 5'4" and 130, size 6/8) and I bought a size L to fit my broad shoulders. The skirting works great to keep the snow from going up my back. It's a sturdy coat and I got it for less than 1/3 it's recommended price. Can't go wrong with that!

The color was blah, different then the picture. Maybe a blonde would look good in it. The fit was really strange. I have this brand in a large, so ordered an extra large for winter and way to narrow in the hips for a size 14

Pros - the coat was warm Cons - the sleeves were way too long and the velcro was placed poorly so you couldn't cinch the cuff up to make up for the extra length.

This is a great looking coat. Is 2 colors (darker on elbows, zippers lighter green). Something between a kelly-turquoise and a grass green. Beautiful. Had only the XL decided to try it because I want to layer. I am 5'6 135 lbs, wide shoulders. I would have thought it would be too big, but the XL fit perfect with just enough room to layer some under.

Did not fit quite right and felt a little bulky. Way too much velcro. Maybe would fit someone else better but just not comfortable or flattering for me. Color not as pictured, although color description pretty right on. Was excited to get a Lowe Alpine jacket at a great price but ended up sending back.

Great jacket! Beautiful and high quality. It has two tones, I didn't realize that. It is super warm and cozy. It is a little tight around the middle but still good very nice. I am 5'7, 150 lbs, athletic build.
