“Pay attention to the sizes”

“I have another hooded primaloft jacket I love, so I was hoping to get another hoodless version for layered wear. However, this one fits too snugly. I would usually order a medium jacket to fit a sweater underneath, but in this case, the hip and bust are an exact fit. That's not okay for my use, so I will be returning it and looking for another. I note, however, that the fit chart for this item lists a medium as a 4-6, which might be right, if you're not trying to layer up much. To me, that's not classic fit, that's "order one size smaller". Do take it seriously. I know Lowe usually runs more relaxed, but this jacket doesn't. If you're a small, the medium should be okay. Otherwise, detailing is good and it's nice quality, as expected. There's an elastic drawcord at hip and neck. The jacket feels thinner, but with primaloft that doesn't mean it won't be warm (anyway I won't be trying it). I might give one to my sister for xmas though.”
