“I bought the pack for long term survival to hold all of my gear and then some. I holds all I have with room to spare. After talking to and comparing stuff with survivalist friends, they brought to my attention that its a great pack for camping or very long term suvival as it holds so much. However, they also informed me that for immediate survival the whole pack was way to big and heavy with all of my gear. So the great thing about this pack is the two side pouches can be detached and put together to form the "immediate" survival pack. The combination of these two things makes this pack the perfect pack due to its versatility. Its very durable too with good zippers, lots of compression straps.”
