Lowe Alpine Sierra Pants - Soft Shell (For Women)

Well made pants but very short. I am 5' and 100 lbs. and they fit well but even for me they were just barely long enough...cannot have the hem let out due to a zipper.

As the other reviewers said, these pants marked as a size 10 fit a size 6 perfectly! I liked them so much that I went right back and bought another pair. The internal gaiters are wonderful for x-c skiing or snowshoeing but are too tight to fit over my downhill boots. They are unobtrusive enough that I don't notice them when wearing the pants around town.

The other posters were right - these "size 10" pants fit a size 6 perfectly! The waist is just the right height, and is not too tight. It does only close with 2 snaps, but there is enough overlap that there is room to add velcro if you wanted to. The inseam measures at only 29.5" but they feel longer than this because the crotch rides lower than my jeans. The crotch is gusseted for movement, which is a nice plus. The leg openings are not too big like some other softshell pants I have tried. The internal gaiters are a big plus when x-c skiing, but are not noticeable when I am wearing them around town. I liked them so much that I went right back to STP and ordered a second pair!

LOVE these pants! I ordered a pair about a month ago and was so glad that they were still available for me to order a second pair! Flattering fit, great mobility for movement, water resistant. I wear them for my figure skating practice (I am 40 yrs old and don't want to wear a little skirt like the teenagers!) and think I look good and am able to jump/spin without restriction! Great pants! Glad I now own 2 pairs! Fit is a little on the "smaller" side - I wear a medium in most pants (5'4", 135#), but size 12, was perfect for me in these pants.

I ordered a size larger than usual and it was still very tight. I am a size 8 to 10, or medium, and the large was very tight. I don't think this comes in an extra-large, so only sizes 6 and below should buy this pant.

Nice lightweight pants. Good for hiking, backcountry skiing and Spring skiing

While sledding and ice skating with these pants on with outside temp. of 20F, with a base layer underneath, these pants did GREAT! They are very comfortable, warm, waist hight pants which I was looking for. Lightweight, waterproof, stretchy and SO COMFORTABLE. You don't even feel them on. Great for cross country and warmer downhill ski days.

These are lighter than my other stretch pants made of Schoeller fabric - but I'm hoping they will be great for Spring downhill skiing and winter snowshoeing and crosscountry. Well made, but I would have preferred a hook closure rather than the snaps, that may pop with exertion.

These are very stylish, well constructed pants. I purchased them as a gift for my daughter and I did order up a size as other reviewers suggested. The larger size fit her perfectly and she really likes them!
