Used this on Ft Bragg while in an airborne unit in USASOC. Not bad at all, preferable to the usual Army -issued ALICE pack (unless you mod them). Big but still able to configure it for parachute jumps. Took a good beating, some small tears. We were exceptionally rough on them carrying heavier than average loads and with some sharp ended metallic gear.

This is the best pack I have ever owned! It can hold way more than I can comfortably carry but compresses down to a manageble size. I use it for everything from two day to two week trips. Only problem is that they are nearly impossible to get. If you can find one new or used I highly recommend it.
