    Bottom Line:
    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Wanted to use with hiking and rain pants and others, all of which have elastic waists. Ad said works with a variety of pants, but box said specifically for Lowe Alpine pants. No way to use on elastic waist or buttons (typical outdoor pants), and very iffy with belt loops (an my clothes do NOT have belt loops anyway). The ad was quite deceptive. Save your money!

  • Nice suspenders

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    Perfectly good suspenders. They would only work with pants that have loops for suspenders, like Mammut pants. With Mammut pants I have to put both back pieces through one loop, but it works fine. These suspenders have velcro for attaching to the pants, so if you don't have the loops you won't have anything to attach to. I am medium tall with a fairly long torso for a woman, and wouldn't want them any shorter, so they probably work for average height men and up to medium tall for women, but not for the very tall unless the pants were high waisted.

    I bought these after reading the unfavorable review. To the contrary I am very pleased and ordered two more. The velcro attachments can go on belt loops or the belt for that matter. I have not used suspenders before but I really like these and the price
