“Tough and light”

By reagansbrainVerified PurchaserVerified Reviewer from Western AZ on 11/19/2009
Pros:
Comfortable, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Lightweight
Cons:
Bad Padding, Restricts Movement
Best Uses:
Extended Hikes, Heavy Loads
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
What Is Your Gear Style:
Minimalist
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“Have taken this pack on two hikes and have been generally pleased. I've a 22" torso, so I suppose I'm at the upper limit of what the manufactureer calls acceptable, but have found the maxed out straps to be a little constricting, but not so much that they impede movement or induce an uncomfortable posture. The dual chambers aren't as convienient as my last pack that had a single chamber with multipile openings, but that could be personal preference. The padding is adequate but not luxurious, truthfully better for heavier loads over up-and-down terrain, where too much padding would lead to a lot of shifting.”
