“This is my first backpacking pack, so I can't really tell you how it stacks up to others, but I really like it. I'm short (5'2"), and wanted a pack that wouldn't dwarf me or cause me to fall over backwards when filled. This pack is highly adjustable, and fits me well. There is a divider that separates the main compartment into an upper and a lower compartment, with a separate zipper for the lower compartment. I originally thought this would be very convenient, but have found that not to be the case. The lower compartment zipper is difficult to open when the pack is filled. Also, when the divider is in place, the pack fits fewer items. After trying the divider several times, I now never use it. One thing I find inconvenient is the placement of the bladder hose hole. It's off to the side, which makes the mouthpiece of the bladder dangle off in the back, instead of in front of me. I wish the hole was positioned on the back of the pack and not on the side.”
