    This is a great jacket for getting me to work warm and dry or for hiking. It's light but way warmer than you would think for how light it is. Only complaint might be that it's too warm. You really need to wear wicking fabric underneath. Cotton gets too hot. Great hood that will keep you dry, but there's no way to roll and stuff the hood. Nice fit.

    Very well made jacket; hood adjusts and fits nearly perfect and better than most jackets I've ever tried, even wearing glasses. Lowe Alpine jackets are usually only sold overseas, so I'm not sure about the breathability here in the SE US or long term durability of the Triplepoint waterproofing. But it is a good light shell (the small only weighed 17.6 oz on my scale); pit zips are acutally on the chest, hood is always attached.

    Great construction, cut perfectly for activities - not too bulky and sleeves are plenty long. The hood is large without a hat or helmet underneath, but the brim has a moldable metal rim that helps. About as good of a taped jacket as you can at this price.

    i usually wear a medium but the cut was slightly too small for me. I am 61 inches, 168 lbs. i wore it twice and the zipper caught on the clothe both times. it is too small sized zipper. it should be medium sized zipper for outdoor usage. If it fits and you are more adept with the zipper it is a nice jacket.

    This jacket requires non cotton tops used under it for best results; the catalog does not advise this. As my first hi-tech rain jacket I was not pleaseed to find this out after purchase. A bit small for a large size, but I'm a bit too large too. This is not a 3/4 length jacket.

    Size it down! I'm 5'11" 170lbs and size Large draped on me, so much so I wondered if they'd put an XL tag on it by mistake (they hadn't). Also wide in the body, even with the next size down, so not for those seeking a slim athletic cut. Otherwise a nicely built shell, good compromise on lightweight/durable, with a very adjustable, helmet compatible hood.
