Multiple ways to add on to packs, while it is designed for a Lowe pack, was hoping to make adaptable for others, and believe it will.

Durable and functional design. Lacks a good method for quick connect and disconnecting from a pack or carry-on type bag. I was able to easily modify the pouch for my packs.

I ordered these backpack side pockets for those times when I need just a little more space, and so far so good. I was surprised at how large they were when they came, I can roll up my down vest and fit it in one of these. I usually only use one though to carry fuel and stuff I don't want leaking in my pack. These may not be easy to attach to your pack but a little velcro can always solve that.

I use a lot of electronic gadgets. The "Side Pockets" I purchased are ideal for the countless batteries, cables, manuals, charging station, and much more. It's a great organizational tool!

I ordered these hoping that I could use them with my existing backpack since they were touted as "universal". However they did not have the necessary straps that would allow me to attach them to my existing backpack. I suspect they are only usable with Lowe Alpine gear.

Use these primarily for backcountry trips. Put on side of pack, which doesn't have easily accessible side pockets. Sometimes even with side pockets on the your pack, they are so tight that it's hard to access whatever is in there. With these pockets, things like my binoculars, fishing gear, rain gear and other items I don't want a lot of pressure on are easily accessible.

I added one of these pockets to the outside of my 5.11 Rush 24 backpack. The Rush 24 has many rows of MOLLE straps and I simply used tie wraps to attach. It isn't the ideal way, but it works rather well. The pockets hold more stuff than I expected. I can put a water bottle, food, and some misc stuff in there. They seem like they are durable enough to handle some rough handling. Also, it seems to be rather water-resistant so I don't have to worry about rain soaking my gear. The zipper covers keep it well protected. Unfortunately, the size or design of the zippers keeps these from getting a 5 star rating. If I have them zippered shut I always need two hands to open the pocket. They might slide better if I lubricate them, but I haven't tested that idea yet. Also, the pocket doesn't have any drainage holes so if/when I have a bottle leak it will sit in there. Overall, these were a great buy and I would get more of them if I had any need for more storage.

This is a good product with many uses. Go down in pack size and use thes as need for longer trips our more gear. I like the universal mounting options so I can use it with both of my packs! Great for keeping thing orginized on packs with few pockets.

Although these pockest are designed for Lowe packs that have the special side pocket attachments, they have enough features build in to be attached to your pack. This can be done by either using the sown on straps, by feeding your packs compression straps through the sleeves on the backs of the pockets, etc. One pocket is large enough to; hold a pair of BD Contact Strap Crampons or two 22 oz fuel bottles etc.

great additions to any pack if you want to add carrying capacity. can attach to different packs if you have different packs that you use for different outings. i've only gone out once with these so i haven't been able to test the durability, but the material and zipper seems like good material.
