Lowe Alpine Venture Gore-Tex® Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

I used this product on a number of hikes and it was brilliant for keeping off the rain and stopping the wind. It was a bit stiff but once I wore it in it was fine.

Was able to take advantage of a great sale and purchased this excellent Gore-Tex jacket at almost 75% off retail. Fit is good; although sleeves seem too long, I can cinch velcro fastenings at the wrist. The hood folds into the collar, but that makes the collar too bulky, so I'll probably leave the hood out. This is just what I was looking for--a casual, breathable, waterproof jacket for traveling.

Used on a cruise, and it was just right for easy packing and easy carrying in uncertain weather conditions.

I went Atlantic Salmon fishing on the Restigouche river in New Brunswick. Lowe Alpine is an excellent product and I will purchase their products in the future.

I got this jacket for my summer to Germany (whre i know it rains often in summer). Seems well made, nice simple design. It is lined, contrary to one reviewer's comment. The zipper is backwards to most american jackets but normal for parts of the world. What worries me most is the zipper doesn't work all that smoothly. I hope it improves with age. Also, I wish it had a piece of soft fabric on the neck area (rather than simply the jacket material. Over-all a great value.

This jacket is very light. I ordered the deep cobalt and my wife loves the color because it is bright and adds color to my wardrobe. The arm length is long and since i have long arms, its great. i use it during rain, wind, and foggy days. great for hiking!

This is the garments for warm days when it is raining on the construction site.

Great for keeping dry in rain and perfect for the wind on the top of mountains. Lightweight and perfect for a pack. Breathable enough to wear while hiking uphill.

Intended for use as rain gear for camping and hiking but too early to tell.
