    I wore this jacket hiking in Colorado through rain, wind, and snow in May. It was perfect protection from the elements. I recommend layering for very cold temps, I did and was very comfortable. I'll get great use out of this jacket!

    Could have spent 3x as much and dropped a couple of ounces off the weight, but this is an outstanding, Lowe Alpine quality jacket. This is going to be my new go-everywhere backup rain jacket for everything from work to travel to outdoor adventures. This is exactly what I was looking for and I am absolutely pleased with this product.

    The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is there are no pit zips. I don't normally use them, but some people can't live without. This is the perfect jacket if you are looking for something lightweight, packable that still defends the elements. The sleeves are long enough for Mountain Biking, the hood packs up nicely. This could save you in an unexpected snow storm.

    Gore-Tex replaced a 10+ year old jacket of mine when coating failed. The replacement jacket is better than original, but also heavy duty. I am a worshipper of Gore-Tex and a lifetime faithful customer. This jacket is terrifically lightweight yet still waterproof and breatheable.
