“The most water resistant softshell I have encoutered making it great for sleet or snowy conditions while xcountry skiing or hiking in sub-freezing temperatures. The fleece lining is very thin (this is the Lite version of Polartec Power Shield) which makes it ideal for aerobic activities.
Remember to order 2 sizes bigger than normal. I normally wear medium and I couldn't zip it up. I re-ordered an XL so I could layer a nice merino hoody under it.
I avoid softshells when liquid precipitation is possible.”
