“Forget those mesh half-sleeves. Secure your water bottles in one of these insulated sleeves. I have three - one for each pack - because you have to undo a pack strap and thread it through the fixed opening (which has Velcro but is not adjustable). The insulation is surprisingly effective. I've had ice cubes melt in my second bottle within a couple hours, but last all day in my Lowe Alpine.”
