Lowe Alpine Waist Belt Bottle Pocket - Insulated

seems bulky, but I suppose anything less would not be duable enough. Seems to be made well. Overall a good buy.

Larger than you would expect... fits any bottle I own. I only wish there was a little more versatile attachment system.

Caveat: No field testing yet, just initial impressions. Bought this on impulse along with the Lowe Side Pockets and was very pleasantly surprised. Construction is good and the design is flexible enough to carry my Klean Kanteen 40 ounce bottle. I haven't found a similar bottle pocket with that ability. Despite its thickness which probably allows for a bit of insulation, it is fairly light. I wish it had a snap on type belt loop but the wide fixed loop with velcro looks like it will fit over most pack belts. The velcro will allow it to tighten so it doesn't slide. Looks like a winner.

Not a bad bottle bag, but it's kind of bulky and the way it attaches for carrying is odd. what ever you want to attach it to has to be slid through the thick panel. the "panel" is wide so a small carbiner on your belt or pack would be too small to 'loop' it through because its wide and its attached to the bag. It was only a few bucks so i'll figure something out.

Functional, great value

Keeps the water in my Nalgene cool for longer and doesn't weigh much more than a simple packcloth bottle pocket (I have a couple of them, too). You can wear it on your waist, but I've also attached it to a day pack. Works great.

GREAT FOR DAY USE

Great idea and well executed except that the hook-and-loop strap is fastened to the bottle holder at both ends (like a belt loop), so it cannot be hooked around anything - you must thread a belt or strap through it.
