“Bulletproof outerwear. Its not meant to keep you warm, it keeps you dry, but there is plenty of room to wear a sweater or fleece jacket under it. It sheds water like a duck and breaths as Gor-Tex is intended to do. The only drawback I can think of is that the hood must be very carefully tucked away or the rigid wire that shapes the front of it makes the zipped-up collar a bit cumbersome (by no means a big deal).”
