The belt loops will be ideal for when the elastic weakens in a year or two and make these a useful choice for mountain use. No pockets. The liner material is separate from the shell (not laminated), which is a small frustration when putting on.

They are well made, and I really liked the full length leg zippers, which made it easy to put them on without removing your boots. I would buy these again.
