Used this on a five day 55-60 mile backpack in the Lemhi Mts. Carried all my gear, food and water with room to spare! This is the best lightweight pack I've used so far. I didn't get any nerve pain in my shoulder the whole trip! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because it doesn't have any waist belt pockets. The lid detaches for an even lighter pack. As with all one bag type packs, you do need to be a little more organized with your packing.

There are no waist belt pockets. The side pockets do not close, so they are good to stuff a jacket into, but there is no way to keep things dry or to keep things from falling out. The size seems to be one size fits all. I am 5'4" and 125# and the hip belt just works for me, although the length is a little long in the trunk. I plan to use this as a glorified day pack, so it will be fine.

LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT but does not seem as rugged as I would have liked. No rain cover. Day hikes w/ small loads w/o any moderately sharp edges would be fine. I was looking for a minimalist(sp?) pack for 3-5 day hikes but don't know if this would survive. Haven't tried it yet so we'll see and I'll report back.

I am getting ready for summer backpacking trips. Ultra lite is way to go. I have been getting ultra lite gears. 2.5lbs with 50 liter capacity is what I was look for. I have not tested it yet but should handle less than 30lbs load.
