Lowepro Tropolis Laptop Backpack - 1300

Certainly not stylish hipster gear, but uber functional and typical Lowe(HIGH) quality. I needed to be able to transport my laptop, related accessories, and a few documents from car to client to office several times a day. This is perfect. All about function, not fashion.

Great quality, organizes well, carries nice. I was able to load my beastly Lenovo Thinkpad (16 1/4" x 12 1/4" x 1 3/4")inside this bag. It was a very tight fit, but it works, and now that I'm using it it works well. Probably not large enough for a large laptop and a few books(school app). I've had clients comment on the "nice bag" ........ good organization makes one look competent. Very happy with this,...Highly recommended.

a very nice item however did not fit my lifestyle. it really is only for laptops and i thought it might be useful as a purse, which it was not. if you are looking for a laptop backpack, this would be the one to get.

Very good value. Well made, well designed and possessing adequate room for a 17" macBook Pro, accessories and files. Highly recommended. Wax the zippers for easier action.

Perfect for work, I can be just as comfortable as a day hiker without looking like a college kid. Have not had it long so uncertain but it certainly seems sturdy, well constructed and something that will last and hold up to rough use. I travel from school building to school building--some of these buildings are as long as an airport--hiking through a school building with 30 lbs of stuff can be tough but this bag has been a shoulder saver. It does not look like it from the outside but it has a place for everything and all easily accessible.

It won't stand-up, wants to fall over is my only negative

You know those neoprene sleeves that they sell for laptops? The ones that seem like they're more for show than to protect your laptop? This is the anthesis of those things. It's super-well constructed, with ample padding and protection for your investment. High quality zippers. It's also maybe the ugliest bag (laptop or otherwise) I have ever seen. I'm keeping it because I want to protect my computer and I haven't seen a bag that offers this degree of padding and structural support. Stay away if carry about form more than function. Excellent value--cannot be beat--if not.

Great for running through airports. Perfect for my 17" laptop; likely too large for netbooks and smaller laptops.

There is more than adequate padding to protect the laptop and plenty of storage for accessories. Great product at a great price.
