Work that zipper

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The somewhat stiff shell means you have to unzip three sides of the case to pull out your laptop. The zip case that fits in that compartment and where you'd want to put your brick and cables has a zipper that takes two hands to open. That makes it just too laborious to load and unload for me as much as I like the sturdy and protective construction and comfortable straps.

Excellent size for a 13 to 15" computer and all related components and wires. Add a file or 2 no problem. not too big or bulky just right in size and weight.

This is a very well-made, sturdy, comfortable backpack. It's perfect for my needs...a compact case that carries the basics - the laptop, mouse, cables, and a couple of folders. It has a business-like look and feel, but I like it fine for personal use.
